Flowers, Fall, & Funny Faces

Here is our view of the fall flowers and parking lot at the Welcome Center @ the Smith Farm and Sacred Grove.

Our NY skies are ever changing, especially in the fall. Here is a beginning of the sunset after a rainy day.

This is another autumn, Halloween landscape -- Jack-O-Lanterns amidst the fall colors of the bushes.

Wow...it really is fall...I was thinking "Where did the summer go?" and then I remembered that I had a pretty long and busy summer...so I guess it's time for a change, but I WON"T GO HAPPY!!! Fall is really beautiful, just God's way of luring us happily into WINTER! It's a cruel trick...oh well, guess I'll enjoy the cool fall while I can!

I always feel a little melancholy at the end of summer, but like Kristi I won't go happy but am grateful for the harvest, and when the snow flies peaches and tomatoes and raspberry and apricot jam will taste so good. The pictures are beautiful :o)

I remember when I younger, and lived in Ohio, we would visit NY with my grandparents and go to the different church sites. It's nice to read about your mission experiences. It brings back such fond memories.
