Today was the 179th Anniversary of the organization of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at Fayette, NY. We were there today holding a Zone Conf. and reviewed all the things pertaining to the organization of the Church, it was pretty neat!
This is a picture of four of our young Sister missionaries -- this was taken last summer and some of them have already finished their missions and gone home. This is the sign at the Whitmer Farm which is the visitor's first introduction to this Historical Site.
Today -- 6 April 2009
"For it shall come to pass in that day, that every man shall hear the fulness of the gospel in his own tongue, and in his own language" Doctrine & Covenants 90:11
It all started HERE in Palmyra and Fayette, NY. What a great blessing to the World!!

We were there a number of years ago. It looks like it was a nice day, with the sisters without coats. Do you somtimes feel like you are walking on Holy ground? You are certainly walking where prophets and angels have walked. Do we know what the weather was like 179 years ago?
That IS neat! Loved seeing a new post... and a picture of a picture...cool! You should put up more little snidbits like that! Talk to you soon.
Thanks for helping me remember this day. It was neat to see pictures of the farm and of you guys. Hopefully you can have some nice weather soon. Love ya!

Truly amazing!! Words just can't express! I am so glad you are out there with Mom and Gary. It is such a testimony builder to be there and have the missionaries bear witness of the truthfulness of the Gospel. You are the missionaries, THANK YOU for your testimonies!!
We love you!!
Ray and Donna,
We really look up to you two as hero,s in our eyes. You are such great examples to us, the rest of the 5th ward and, of course, your own family. What a wonderful experience you must be having in that sacred place. How different our mission experiences are and yet the same wonderful Gospel. It all adds up to serving the Lord and his children and feeling His infinate love.
Love from Madagascar
